Peter Kaznacheev, PhD is an London-based energy economist and commodity strategist with 18 years of experience in commodity research, investment strategy and policy advisory. He is Senior Fellow at King’s College London European Centre for Energy and Resource Security (EUCERS). He is also Lead Economist at Khaznah Strategies Ltd., a consulting firm that specialises in energy market research and strategic advisory. Previously, he worked as Senior Consultant for the World Bank, Business Development Advisor with BP and Russia’s Assistant Representative at the Group of Eight (G8). Peter received a Master’s degree in international economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC; and a BA and a PhD in political science and philosophy from Moscow State University. He has the author of multiple academic and media publications and a visiting lecturer in energy and natural resources.
